New SPX328
As the result of years spent in market analysis, research and development, the new SPX328 is a cutting-edge machine that offers a smooth User Experience even for beginners.
With this new model, the Italian company unveils a modern, innovative, convenient and handy product that requires minimum training and guides the operator through the different working phases, streamlining the processes and turning even the most difficult operation into something easy to perform. From stabilization to operation, the operator is easily steered throughout his work. The screen of this model, where the operator is guided step by step to set the parameters of his experience, is the quintessence of the User-Friendly concept. This is the major element of the SPX328, designed and developed for both entry-level operators and skilled users.
FEATURES
The brand-new design of the SPX328 proposes soft and rounded lines yet it holds to Jekko’s typically engaging boxy style.
This is a crawler minicrane stands in the category that can easily drive through standard doorways with a maximum capacity of 2800 kg, powered by LiFe-PO4 210Ah lithium-ion batteries.
SPX328 is the first minicrane worldwide equipped with an electric jib – with a 500-kg maximum lifting capacity
INNOVATION
An onboard 10” interactive touchscreen – featuring an IP67 Protection Rating for operation in any yard and in no matter what weather conditions, from low to high temperatures, under the sun and the snow, even when using work gloves – interacts with the crane via the Jekko Touch Experience system, that guides the operator step by step in order to configure the crane before starting operation, and has tutorials that can be watched on the display.
A radio remote control included as standard equipment and the HOOK Recovery system: the automatic block stowing system for multiple pulls.
An advanced radio-remote-controlled self-levelling system levels the crane in an independent way so that it positions correctly no matter how the stabilizers are placed and also on uneven ground.
Another system this model is fitted with is the Kick Down system, that detects the travel operation depending on how the levers are used and allows for a higher speed during drive exceeding the maximum standard speed of the crane.
The SPX328 is the outcome of a know-how developed over years of experience, empathy and attention for the dynamics of the market and its evolution. The world changes and Jekko changes as well, adapting and improving its machines, heading to the future and targeting eco-friendliness.
Nuremberg 12th to 15th July 2022 – FENSTERBAU FRONTALE
Fensterbau Frontale is scheduled for July and Jekko won’t miss the chance after exhibiting in 2018.
Taking part in this show is a not-to-be-missed showcase for the products dedicated to the glass sector.
Jekko will be an exhibitor in hall 4A-317 with a 73-sqm stand and will put on display an electric-powered SPX532 equipped with a JVM800 vacuum manipulator for glass panes, an MPK06 minipicker and the new entry MPK10 – both fitted with vacuum manipulators for glass panes – as well as the JVL450 and JVL600 vacuum lifters with their dedicated trolley for laying-up and transport. All these models and their tools are the company’s flagship products dedicated to the glass pane handling and fitting sector.
The Treviso-based company offers a wide range of machinery designed for glass pane fitting. Minicranes and minipickers have reduced weight and compact dimensions, are easy to transport and stabilize, and can be fitted and integrated with a glass pane manipulator or a vacuum lifter to become machines ideal to operate in confined spaces and in the top floors of a building. The minicranes used in the construction of skyscrapers are an example. These cranes can operate and be stabilized on the top floors so that glass facade fitting at lower floors is fast and simple. Glass panes can even be lifted from the ground floor up to the floor where they’re needed by means of a radio remote controlled winch. On the other hand, minipickers have a right/left turret rotation of at least +/- 9° making them the sole pick&carry lifters that – when equipped with a 360° continuous rotation, tilt and swing glass manipulator – can drive through narrow places with a panel placed on their side keeping it within the crane loading gauge. Glass pane fitting is controlled via a wire control or a radio control. These machines can be fitted with tools such as hydraulic or electric manipulators or vacuum lifters for glass pane handling.
Battery-powered hydraulic manipulators are used for an accurate fitting of glass panes and are faster and more effective of vacuum lifters since they’re radio remote controlled by an operator, can move in all four directions and can also tilt and rotate for a precise and careful positioning of the glass panes.
Vacuum lifters are used with any crane fitted with a hookblock lifting system to move glass panes in a fast and safe way.

Great satisfaction for Jekko at the 8th edition of GIS
GIS, the Italian Lifting Day, has taken place at the Piacenza exposition area from the 7th to the 9th of October 2021. Jekko, present with its two stands throughout the entire exhibition, has registered an incredible number of visitors.
On Friday night, the ILTA, Italian Lifting and Transportation Awards, opened the night-time event of the exposition, the GIS by Night. During this exclusive event, Jekko has been recognized as a trailblazer company once more, receiving the Product Innovation Award for its SPX650. Launched in July 2020, this telescopic spider crane on tracks possesses great versatility, distinguished by technological features that make this machine unique in its category. The electrical motor, the adaptive stabilization system and its lifting capacity, when fully extended with the jib, compared to its compact dimensions, are some of the features that identify SPX 650.
GIS, the only Italian event dedicated to the users of cranes, AWP, industrial handling equipment, and heavy transport, will occur as usual in Piacenza from the 7th to the 9th of October 2021.
Jekko will expose a wide range of products, receiving its visitors in two new areas. The main stand, number N28 outdoor, will display Jekko foremost mini-cranes, with the two families SPX and JF. The stand A20/B19, in the indoor pavilion N1, is for industrial applications and tools.
The outside booth will see the presence of SPX532, the 3.2-ton best seller, SPX650, the 5-ton mini-crane presented in July 2020, and SPX1280, with its maximum lifting capacity of 8 tons. These three machines can mount lithium batteries or diesel engines to give the operator more versatility. Representing the JF family, there will be JF545, an articulated crane successful in Italy and abroad thanks to its performances, and JF990, able to lift a maximum of 21500 kg. MPK50, the industrial mini-picker, will occupy the limelight of the indoor stand, together with Jekko lifting accessories. The tools catalogue includes the vacuum lifters JVL450 and JVL600, the manipulators JVM800R for glass and slates, and JIB500GR for iron bars. Not to forget the lifting beams in three sizes, 5, 10 and 20 tons.
During the eighth edition of GIS, Jekko will also present MPK10, the new 1-ton mini-picker that will expand the glass-handling range with the praised MPK06. The latest model will appear at the Italian mini-picker dealer LEVO stand, number L2/M1b (outdoor), renamed ORION06 and ORION10. Visitors can also spot some Jekko cranes in other customer’s stands throughout the exhibition.
In 2020, a difficult year under many aspects, Jekko has reached a double milestone: at JDL exhibition in France the company delivered to French dealer ATN Platforms its 2000th crane, exactly 20 years after its first mini crane prototype.
It has been 20 years since Jekko developed the first model of a mini crane in 2000. From that moment on, the Treviso-based company has always been betting and investing in new models and new lifting solutions, supported and rewarded by a growing interest coming from the market, gaining an important place among the most relevant mini crane producers worldwide.
It is worth to mention that the 2000th unit is new SPX650 model, the latest machine launched last July during a live streaming presentation. This mini crane embodies cutting-edge technical solutions and innovations and has already drawn the attention of the experts, promising to become a flagship model of Jekko range.
The 2000th crane was delivered to ATN Platforms, which recently took the place of Fassi France and is new Jekko dealer in the French market. JDL exhibition was therefore the perfect setting for a symbolic delivery of the machine, sealing a new relationship which has already started in the best way possible.
“We are so glad of having reached this important milestone and delivering our 2000th crane to our French distributor ATN Platforms makes us very proud – comments Mr. Alberto Franceschini, Jekko Export Manager – France is one of the most important markets for us and we have been operating there for 13 years, at first together with Miltra, then with Fassi France and now with ATN Platforms. We would like to thank Mr. Roger Boutonnet, ATN Platforms President, and his son Benoit, who first started the cooperation between Miltra and Jekko in 2007, and also Mr. Gilles Cheval and Mr. Frédéric Leclerc. Without their precious support we wouldn’t be where we are today”.
In view of 2020/2021 sport season, Benetton Rugby is glad to welcome Jekko as a new commercial partner.
Jekko logo will be placed on the side of the shorts of the match uniform worn by the Lions in the international events. Not only that: Jekko brand will appear on sidelines led, on the big screen, on Benetton Rugby website and mobile app and many other occasions.
“Both Benetton Rugby and Jekko come from the hard-working and dynamic province of Treviso, and both compete internationally. – Says Mr. Diego Tomasella, Jekko CEO – To face the many daily challenges, team spirit, clear and shared goals, commitment and mutual support are needed. Jekko has always based on these values and we could find them also in the Lions of Treviso. We are proud of becoming sponsor of such an important reality”.
“We are extremely pleased of starting a new partnership with Jekko, a major company standing at our side, with which we share values and goals each one in their own sector, wishing that next season will be rich of satisfaction for both of us” comments Mr. Amerino Zanatta, President of the green-and-white club.
The new SPX1280, the versatile minicrane featuring endless options of stabilization
You might see the world in black or white, or consider a glass always half-full or half-empty. But between the extremes there are endless options. This is the concept underlying the new SPX1280: beyond the limits, the world has no limits, and the operator turns into a painter whose palette offers all the colours of the rainbow and their endless combinations and nuances.
From art to yard, the step seems far too long but it’s the principle that counts and makes everything easier. The SPX1280 encompasses new-generation technology that fully exploits the concepts of stability and hoisting.
This results in straightforwardness and versatility for the operators to enjoy a new working experience and endless operating configurations, pushing to the extremes the concept of performance. A closer look at the characteristics and performance of the new SPX1280 will make you feel several light-years have gone since the launch of its predecessor, the SPX1275, that now gives way to Jekko’s newborn after long years of good and loyal service.
This machine is a real blank page for the operator, who can use endless configurations to be exploited very easily, notably through a completely revised user interface – maintains Mauro Tonon, Export Sales Manager Jekko. – The SPX1280 has a maximum safe working load equal to 8 tons and reaches 26.6 m in height when the hydraulic jib is installed. Considering its weight, size and stabilization area, it’s no doubt the most performing machine within its sector. And of course the Pick & Carry mode for operation at 360° with a 2-ton load, Jekko’s trademark, is obviously available.
The stabilization system of the SPX1280 considers several factors in order to determine the possible working conditions. Depending on the opening angle and the extension of the stabilisers – as well as the possible use of the counterweight – the machine software can define in real time the maximum safe working load in a specific point. In the past this wasn’t possible at such an extent since partial extensions of the stabilizers and 0° to 45° intermediate angles couldn’t be taken into account. The stabilization degrees have increased from four to seven and their displaying on the interface is easier and user-friendly.
AN ADVANCED AND PRECISE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
The biennial appointment with GIS exhibition is back this year, in Piacenza (Italy) from 3rd to 5th October. This trade fair, now in its 7th edition, it’s the only Italian event dedicated to lifting machines and equipment and has a more and more international horizon.
Jekko could not miss this important exhibition and this year will attend GIS again with great enthusiasm. At Jekko stand, located in the external area, n. M16/N15, the most recent news will be showcased together with well known models.
