1972
Ormet, the forerunner of Jekko

The Officina Riparazione Macchine E Trattori is established in the province of Treviso. The company sells and installs the first truck cranes as well as lifting equipment for the eco- and forest industry.

2000
The first prototype

Upon demand of a glazing company, Ormet designs and sells its first minicrane prototype, the SLM200 model. The machine is a big hit! The next model, the SLM600, paves the way to the Spanish market.

2003
The beginning of mass-production

Requests come increasingly faster: it’s the beginning of mass-production and minicranes become standard products by Ormet. These are the days of the new SPD260+, our first battery-powered model.

2007
The USA and the Jekko brand

The company heads overseas and the first minicrane is sold in the United States. The exponential growth calls for a new brand: Ormet sets up the Jekko line.

2013
A leading brand in the sector

The Jekko line is in constant evolution. Jekko develops its machines, is present at the international shows and extends its facilities to strengthen its position in the lifting equipment market.

2016
Jekko becomes a company

After a decade of ongoing development, the Jekko brand turns into a company independent of Ormet, specializing in the design, manufacture and sale of minicranes.
