How we lighten up our footprint.
We’re computerizing our production lines and company documents such as catalogues and crane documentation. And when printing cannot be avoided, we use FCS-certified 100% recycled paper.
One of the green areas at our company’s headquarters is home to some 20,000 bees in their beehives. They’re constantly monitored and looked after by the guys of our team so we, too, help the ecosystem!
We have decided not to use plastic any longer in our offices, both when we drink water (we prefer filtered water dispensers to disposable bottles) and when we have coffee (we only use plastic free compostable pods).
All of Jekko’s employees have been given a thermal aluminium bottle with their name written on it. We also present our customers and suppliers with branded gadgets that come in sustainable 100% cotton bags.
We pay special attention to the different food allergies. Our vending machines offer biological, low-sugar or free-from snacks.

All our employees can ask for and attend several training courses at our company’s expense.
Our headquarters are decorated with several plants to increase the common wellbeing and offer people more pleasant spaces.
We support the local initiative “La Mammografia e l’Ecografia gratuita” by WelfareCare that, in 2022, allowed the women in our company to have 38 mammographies and 50 ultrasonographies for free.
We collect and recycle plastic caps. The proceeds are devoted to Via di Natale, a charity that offers free accommodation to the patients of the Oncological Reference Centre in Aviano and/or to their families.
Jekko strongly advocates the concept of environmentally friendly, battery-powered cranes. For these reasons, we provide electric mini cranes in ‘ECO’ battery-powered versions that operate in the same way as their diesel or gasoline counterparts. We are also the only manufacturer of mini cranes that offers lithium battery-powered mini cranes, which deliver superior cost and performance benefits. Battery-powered mini cranes are ideal for working in enclosed spaces without causing pollution.
Jekko can count on almost 10 years of experience in manufacturing cranes equipped with lithium batteries. Today, with the evolution of technology, mini cranes are equipped with the most advanced lithium battery system.
Being one of the key components of the machine, the choice is to rely on Made in Italy, again.
The battery is equipped with an internal computer that preserves performance and available energy to the maximum. This electronic system is able to avoid dangerous conditions such as over-current or deep discharge.
In this way, the risk of damage due to misuse or failure is completely eliminated.
The size of the batteries is always chosen according to the type of crane.
This is because we want to ensure at least 8 hours of work with the crane. The various settings on board will allow the consumption of the electric motor to be reduced proportionally, offering an ECO mode. It is also possible to recharge the machine while working, so that it can work continuously.
Depending on the available power supply, it will also be possible to set the maximum current to be used for recharging, so that the limits of availability will be overridden.
It will be possible to choose between various chargers: single-phase 110V or 230V and three-phase 400V. The latter will allow charging 3 times faster.
