Under the support from Jekko team, we will expand the Jekko market in the region with our partners.”
Alberto Franceschini – Jekko’s Sales Director – comments the news as follows: “The Asian market represents the next and most important challenge for Jekko. After years of supplies, new Dealers and excellent feedback from Users, the Company has decided to speed up and define a more concrete policy in the area.
For a niche product like Jekko’s, where brand awareness has to be strengthened, people make the difference. I met Chen Li eight years ago and was very impressed by his very fast and modern approach. Chen Li reflects exactly what we were looking for: a very technically minded person, with an excellent knowledge of the rental market and business dynamics, with very good people and communication skills.
I am sure that Chen Li will enable Jekko to make a further name for itself in the area, not only for the quality of our products, which is increasingly sought after and recognised as a differentiator, but also because of the great professionalism of our new colleague.”
Important results have arrived, and we are sure that many will come, thanks also to the fact that we will be present for the first time as exhibitors at Bauma China 2024.

SkyJacks Appointed as Jekko Dealer for South Africa
Jekko is pleased to announce its partnership with SkyJacks, a premier supplier of powered access and material handling solutions based in Johannesburg, South Africa. SkyJacks has been appointed as the exclusive dealer for Jekko products in South Africa, further expanding Jekko’s global presence and providing customers in the region with access to cutting-edge lifting technology.
With over 45 years of experience, SkyJacks has established itself as a trusted provider of innovative solutions for working at height and material handling challenges in Southern Africa. The company’s extensive portfolio includes suspended access platforms, aerial work platforms, telehandlers, and construction hoists, backed by a commitment to excellence in product quality and customer service.
The partnership between Jekko and SkyJacks signifies a shared dedication to delivering reliable and efficient lifting solutions to customers across various industries, including construction, mining, and industrial maintenance. By joining forces, Jekko and SkyJacks aim to meet the evolving needs of the South African market and enhance productivity and safety in challenging working environments.
“With Alistair and his team, we have known each other for many years.” said Alberto Franceschini, Sales & Marketing Director at Jekko. “They visited us already 7 years ago, but at that time Jekko’s size, organization, machinery, and quality were not up to the level of a major player like SkyJacks in South Africa. It is personally satisfying to see that, after all this time, SkyJacks has witnessed the incredible growth of Jekko on the international markets, in its organization, in products, and in quality, which is why it was finally easy to choose to distribute for us.
Furthermore, it’s impressive to witness that more and more dealers are combining in their catalogs a brand of telehandlers and a brand of mini cranes. The two products are remarkably complementary, not in competition, providing the dealer with an extremely versatile, innovative, and comprehensive product package. I am greatly satisfied with this trend.”
SkyJacks Managing Director Alistair Bennett commented, “Over the last 45 years, SkyJacks has been trusted to provide working at height and material handling solutions in some of Southern Africa’s most challenging working environments. Initially, our focus was on suspended access platforms and aerial work platforms. As the company evolved, our offerings grew to include telehandlers and construction hoists. Continuing to innovate, we believe that adding Jekko mini cranes to our offering is a natural progression that will allow us to meet the changing demands of the construction, mining, and industrial maintenance sectors in Southern Africa. We are proud to be a Jekko dealer and look forward to our shared success.”
Keith Freel, Business Development Manager at SkyJacks, added, “The growth of SkyJacks has been led by our customers’ need for robust products and service excellence. With the backing of carefully selected OEMs, we pride ourselves on creating an environment where our customers trust our product offerings, excellent service delivery, and 24/7 technical support. The addition of the Jekko mini cranes into the SkyJacks offering brings to our customers lifting solutions across the market spectrum. We are excited and proud to be part of the Jekko network.”
As part of the partnership, SkyJacks will offer sales, rental, and after-sales support for Jekko products, ensuring customers have access to the full range of services needed to maximize the performance and reliability of their lifting equipment.

Correct Maskin AS as new Jekko’s official dealer in Norway
Jekko is thrilled to announce the addition of Correct Maskin AS to its sales network as the official dealer for Norway. This partnership marks a significant milestone in expanding Jekko’s presence in Scandinavia and reaffirms its commitment to providing innovative lifting solutions to customers worldwide.
Correct Maskin AS, renowned as the Norwegian importer and official dealer of Magni telescopic handlers since 2013, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the table, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality products and exceptional service.
“We are proud of what we have achieved with Magni since 2013 and the organization we have built up,” said Ørjan Jahren Olsen, CEO of Correct Maskin AS. “We feel humble for the chance to be the official dealer of Jekko in Norway. In my opinion, Jekko will be a perfect product to add to our company and will fit perfectly with Magni products. We will have more to offer to existing and new customers. I want to thank Jekko for having faith in us and giving us the opportunity to be their official dealer in Norway.”
Alberto Franceschini, Jekko Sales & Marketing Director, highlighted the synergies between the two companies, stating, “In addition to expressing my satisfaction for this agreement, I emphasize how in recent years the majority of our retailers come from the telehandler world, a much more mature sector than that of mini cranes, but with many common and complementary areas, never in competition. It is a symbiotic business model, which allows the distributor to specialize in the lifting sector, with a wide range of products for a vast offering in the market. The agreement with Correct Maskin focuses on this aspect, and I am happy that Ørjan has understood it.”
Nils Ivar Reiten, Sales Manager of Correct Maskin AS, expressed confidence in the collaboration, commenting, “We are the market leader in Norway for roto telehandlers with Magni and have built our market shares with great products from Magni, our expert service and our technical team that supports our customers and the end user with technical expertise and great knowledge of the products. The Jekko mini cranes will be a great solution for our existing customers. With the innovative solutions, product quality, and support from the Jekko team, we are confident that we will capture the mini crane market in Norway together.”
Marco Piccin, Jekko Export Area Manager for the Norwegian market, added, “We are pleased to start this collaboration with Correct Maskin in Norway, a market that has always been particularly important for Jekko. We are confident that with this new partnership, we can further increase the presence of our mini cranes in the territory, thanks to the help of a strong team focused on customer satisfaction and an experienced sales department with a customer network from the telehandler world.”

Alberto Franceschini, Sales & Marketing Director of Jekko, remarks his enthusiasm as well as Jekko’s intention to broaden its trading horizons eastwards: “There’s no doubt that the economic centre of gravity is shifting eastward. Having a very dynamic economy, a natural bent for innovation and a disposition for high-quality advanced-technology products, Taiwan is to us the ideal springboard to dive into the Asian market. Moreover, Young Mood has been working for many years with European brands such as Fassi therefore the cultural passage will be easier than in other markets. I end off by saying that Micheal Chen’s trading strength and positivity are the added value that makes us trust on Jekko’s success in Taiwan.”
The first Jekko minicranes have already been successfully delivered to the premises of Young Mood, where they’re ready for work and demos.
Jekko appoints Simeri Oy as its dealer for Finland and Estonia
Jekko is glad to announce another new entry in its sales network: with a recently-finalized agreement, Simeri Oy has been appointed as the company’s official dealer for Finland and Estonia.
The choice of Simeri Oy has been made easier for its consolidated reputation in the aerial work platform sector and its excellence in customer-oriented service. Jekko relies on this experience and competence to significantly contribute to the success and growth of the company’s presence on the Finnish market.
Established in 1995, Simeri Oy started as a company specializing in the maintenance of aerial work platforms in Finland. Building up its know-how over time, the company has rapidly become the Finnish reference point in this sector.
Simeri Oy mainly focuses on challenging high-altitude projects and offers several solutions with the most recent addition of Jekko minicranes.
Tommi Kolehmainen, COO of Simeri, explains how they had already received several enquiries for minicranes: “At the time we still weren’t ready in terms of assistance. We wanted to be sure that the after-sales support would work faultlessly also in the minicrane sector.”
“We already assisted minicrane customers in the past, dealing with the maintenance of different brands. So, during assistance interventions and sales sessions we’ve become familiar with the technical features of minicranes. Now we’ve decided to expand our range of products to include them and have the chance to start a partnership with Jekko, a world leading producer.”
“The Finnish and Baltic market has a huge potential for the sales of minicranes. We’re now able to offer a consolidated and reliable know-how on minicranes, strengthened by our timely after-sales service activities. Jekko’s customers are never alone”, says Tommi Kolehmainen.
Antti Alatalo, Sales Director at Simeri, confirms the positive attitude of the newly-established relationship with Jekko: “This partnership is a great opportunity for both companies. The reputation of our businesses is consolidated and the manufacturer fully supports the dealer. Our customer- and service-oriented corporate culture is a simple yet tried and tested combination.”
Marco Piccin, Sales Area Manager of Jekko, explains how Finland, and Scandinavia as a whole, is part of a market that has scored sales records for Jekko over the last few years: “We’re pretty sure the partnership with Simeri will be a great one. The choice of Simeri was suggested by their professionalism and their focus on the after-sales service, which is crucial in these markets. Their experience and widespread presence will be essential to further expand the minicrane market. We count the days to the launch of new products in Finland and Estonia such as the SPX328, the ideal model for the Finnish market, where large rental companies operate. The JF235 will also touch ground soon in Finland, supplementing the offer of the articulated crawler crane range, very appreciated on the Scandinavian market over time.”
Jekko shares this enthusiasm, and Alberto Franceschini, Sales & Marketing Director at Jekko, stresses the importance to acknowledge those who first believed in Jekko in Finland: “I want to personally thank the company Kurko Crane, our friends Juha Koponen and Kari Paarnio, and then their sons Tuomas and Kimmo, for supporting us up to the last moment, for the excellent work carried out and for the fairness in supporting us while spotting and choosing Simeri.”
Marco Piccin: new Sales Area Manager for the UK and Irish market
Jekko is pleased to announce the appointment of Marco Piccin as the new Sales Area Manager for the British market. Marco, the latest talent to join the sales team, has quickly demonstrated his ability to manage different markets and countries, combining it with a strong technical expertise. Already responsible for Scandinavia, the USA, Canada, and Mexico, Piccin has stood out for his calmness, precision, and reliability, becoming a reference point for dealers in the mentioned countries and quickly gaining their trust.
The established partnership with Kevin Keogh Crane Services, which provides solid support in business development in Ireland, and the recent entry of Foster Crane & Equipment Ltd as an official Jekko dealer in the UK, where it has a strong and recognized presence, are tangible signs of the enthusiasm and competence surrounding the brand from the Veneto region in the English market.
Marco Piccin comments: “Accepting the assignment to manage the British market for Jekko was straightforward, especially considering the possibility of collaborating with two prominent companies like Foster Crane & Equipment Ltd and Kevin Keogh Crane Services. I look forward to working closely with both, leveraging my experience in markets that share knowledge and expertise in mini crane technology. Certainly, there will be significant challenges, but with the support of the Jekko team, we will strive to assist Foster Crane & Equipment Ltd and Kevin Keogh Crane Services in consolidating and expanding Jekko’s market in the UK and Ireland.”
Alberto Franceschini, Commercial & Marketing Director of Jekko, adds: “As part of the reorganization and division of market responsibilities, we have decided, in collaboration with Marco Piccin, currently responsible for strategic markets such as North America and Scandinavia, to extend his responsibility to the UK and Ireland markets. This choice is not only dictated by the need to standardize the markets followed by Piccin in terms of language, time zones, and customer type, but also by the desire to support our dealers Foster Crane & Equipment Ltd and Kevin Keogh Crane Services with a capable, precise, and punctual professional, able to provide the vision and support expected by each dealer. Piccin, with his experiences in similar markets, will stand out and be appreciated in these new territories as well, thanks to his commercial skills oriented toward the Anglo-Saxon mentality.”
