JEKKO AND TRACKUNIT ENTER PARTNERSHIP TO CONNECT ENTIRE CRANE RANGE

16/06/2025

Jekko and global contech Trackunit have today entered into a partnership that will allow the Italian OEM to equip its entire crane range with the advanced remote monitoring system, J-LINK.

J-LINK was developed by Trackunit for Jekko and will mark a significant development forward in fleet digitilization and intelligent equipment monitoring. J-Link allows real-time fleet management, machine optimization, and predictive maintenance through advanced data analysis.

The goal of this collaboration is to deliver real value to crane users by improving efficiency, safety, and operational sustainability,” said Alberto Franceschini, sales director of Jekko. “With J-Link, operators can easily track and geolocate their machines and monitor their working status. Partnering with Trackunit is a natural evolution of our innovation-driven approach and customer-centric vision,” said Franceschini. “By integrating advanced telematics into every crane, we’re raising the bar for connectivity and anticipating the needs of an increasingly digital market.

J-Link provides detailed insights into machine usage and can detect potential issues by displaying real-time alerts. One of its most valuable features is predictive maintenance, which enables users to assess component wear, plan maintenance interventions, and prevent unexpected failures.

Designed as a unified fleet management system, J- Link leverages TrackUnit’s widely adopted platform, allowing customers with connected machines to oversee their entire fleet seamlessly. Customers will monitor the machines through Trackunit web portal and web app.

Most of our customers are already familiar with Trackunit as the market leader in connectivity, and adding our cranes to the range of machines that can be monitored through the same portal will surely be welcomed by our customers,” said Franceschini.

We are excited to be partnering with Jekko and see this as yet another important step in helping construction to become more connected,” said Trackunit CEO Søren Brogaard. “Connectivity is the key to making construction work in a more efficient way and to help the industry in its effort to eliminate downtime.

J-Link is available as an option across Jekko’s full range of machines, from MPK minipickers and SPX mini cranes to JF articulated cranes. For those with existing equipment, a retrofit installation will also be available.
