Compact, electric and ready to perform: the new Jekko SPX532.2 has immediately become a valuable asset for Verri Metall GmbH, a Swiss metal construction and locksmithing company based in Subingen, Canton of Solothurn. Recently delivered in its lithium-battery version, the mini crane is already supporting the company in its daily jobsite activities, proving how compact lifting solutions can make a real difference in modern metal construction.

Verri Metall specialises in metalwork and steel construction, producing and installing structures such as stairs, railings, balconies, canopies and customised metal components. From its headquarters in Subingen, the company serves customers across the local Swiss market, bringing together craftsmanship, technical expertise and practical on-site execution.

The SPX532.2 was delivered by MOBAS AG, Jekko’s official dealer in Switzerland. After a dedicated training session on the use of the crane, Verri Metall immediately put the machine to work on its construction sites for the installation of steel and metal structures.

For this type of application, compact mini cranes are a highly effective solution. Their reduced dimensions allow them to operate in confined spaces, close to buildings or directly inside jobsite areas where larger cranes cannot easily access. At the same time, the lithium-battery power supply makes the SPX532.2 particularly suitable for work in urban environments, indoor areas or noise- and emission-sensitive locations.

“We decided to invest in our own crane to optimise our jobsite efficiency and speed up the installation phases other than improving precision and safety, reducing manual handling and improving productivity on site,” says mr. P. Verri, owner of Verri Metall. “The SPX532.2 is extremely easy to transport and very quick to set up, so it is immediately ready for operation. Learning how to use it was very simple: the crane is intuitive and supports the operator throughout the different working phases, making lifting operations easier, safer and more efficient.”

This new delivery confirms the growing role of Jekko mini cranes in metal construction, where compactness, lifting performance and flexibility are essential to meet the demands of modern jobsites.
