NEW MINIPICKER RANGE FOR JEKKO
Jekko launches its redesigned MPK minipicker range, marking a bold step forward in the evolution of this product category. The range includes MPK06.2, MPK10.2 and MPK20.2, with respective lifting capacities of 600 kg, 1000 kg and 2000 kg. Samuel Panza, Jekko’s Product Specialist, highlights the strong market potential of the new models: “Building on years of field-proven reliability, the new Minipicker lineup represents a reengineering of Jekko’s previous models, improving maneuverability and versatility, while maintaining the compact dimensions and user-friendly operation that made the original range a global success. They have been improved by listening to the feedback from our customers and we are sure they will greatly improve the everyday lives of our operators on construction sites.” MPK06.2 and MPK10.2 feature upgraded vacuum manipulators with a modular configuration and a more flexible design. The manipulators are suitable for installing glass panels or smooth slabs as marble, metal, pvc, photovoltaic modules; dedicated vacuum pads are also available for monopanels. The modular design of the manipular frame allows to adapt to every panel shape and size; pads – up to 10 in model MPK10.2 and up to 6 in model MPK06.2 – can be moved to every position and the ball joint on pads improves their adaptability to the panel shape and to its natural flexing. The manipulator can be easily mounted on the machine and then controlled by the minipicker radio control or wired control. The wide movements range allow to perform a millimetric positioning of the panels: full electric rotation of 360°, wide tilt and swing angles. MPK06.2 and MPK10.2 are not only glass robots. In a few minutes they transform into a compact pick & carry crane. A real 2in1 machine that makes versatility its main strength. MPK06.2 and MPK10.2 are perfect for indoor liftings. Fully battery operated and compact in shape, they fit a standard single door (730mm width the MPK06.2, 955mm the MPK10.2) and can mount white non-marking tyres as optional. The ballast is built in easily removable modules to further decrease the minipicker weight and make it easier to transport, for example on elevators. Another distinctive feature, specifically designed for precision positioning, is the mobile turret, which allows smooth movement of the load by just the millimeters you need to reach the exact spot. The largest model in the family, MPK20.2, has undergone a complete 360° redesign. MPK20.2 is a 2-ton pick & carry crane that, with the installation of the independent glass manipulator JVM800, transforms into a glass robot. MPK20.2 can work on hook or winch mode and features an intuitive control system with 5” IP66 onboard touch display, radio remote control and tiller bar. The new steer by wire driving system allows effortless machine handling, even in the tightest spaces. The minipicker is fully battery powered with lithium battery, with a runtime of over 1 full workday and the ability to work while charging. MPK20.2 is also equipped with a mobile turret and double hydraulic plus one manual boom extensions for a precise load positioning. The ballast modules can also be completely removed to reduce the overall weight of the machine. In this case, the crane can continue operating with an automatic load capacity limitation. The new Jekko minipickers can feature, as option, the new J-LINK Advanced Remote Monitoring System developed in partnership with TrackUnit. J-Link allows real-time fleet management, machine optimization, and predictive maintenance through advanced data analysis. It’s been more than just a display of products; it was a meeting point for the lifting community. Sustainability was also a key focus on the stand project: built entirely from reusable materials, it is a proof that even trade shows, which typically generate massive waste, can become more sustainable if companies have the right commitment.”   Looking Ahead With new projects on the horizon and fresh energy from Bauma, Jekko is already looking to the future. Feedback gathered during the exhibition will inform future innovations, helping shape the next generation of lifting solutions.
